Xaomi mi SE was unveiled, alongside the mi 8 and mi 8 explorer edition flagships smartphone during the company's 8th-year-anniversary event in China and it turns out to be the light version of the flagships. However, what the ( SE) here represent, we don't know but I think the company should have a better explanation for that. The screen here boosts up to 81.3% screen to body ratio with HDR10 complaint, DCI-P3 color gamut and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.

The xoami mi 8 SE is equipped with a smaller 12mp + 5mp dual cameras, the 12MP first shooter on top has f/1.9 aperture, 1.4µm pixel size, dual-pixel PDAF, and gyro-EIS. While the second 5MP shooter has f/2.0 aperture and 1.12µm pixel size. However, videos of 2160p can still be shot @60fps and 1080p up to120fps.The cameras still have features like dual pixel phase detection autofocus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama, beautification, bokeh, scene recognition and other AI enhancements.
