The xoami mi 8 Explorer Edition turns out to be the processor of the mi 8 and mi 8 SE from the xoami mi series flagships, While the xoami mi SE is the light version of the xoami mi 8 smartphone. however, xoami mi 8 Explorer Edition comes with more advanced specs and features than the mi 8 and mi 8 SE device.
The device comes with a see-through back panel, under-screen fingerprint scanner, impressive display and massive 8GB RAM storage powered by an octa-core clocking at a very fast speed and the device wasn't left behind when it comes to the trending notch screen design on it predecessors xoami mi 8 and mi 8 SE. DESIGN
The device designed with a transparent back cover which reflects the Snapdragon 845 processor chipset underneath the phone. This transparent back really adds to the beauty of the phone. However, the device does not have a fingerprint scanner placed at the back, instead, the fingerprint scanner is on the screen.The dual cameras of the device are in the same position with the one on it predecessors. As usual, the cameras are placed close to the edge of the device with the dual-LED flash in between. A Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection is still included in the design as well. Like its predecessors, the device did not come with water and dust resistant functionality. It is available in only black color, measuring about 7.6mm in thickness and 177g in weight.

The second 12MP S5K3M3 telephoto camera from Samsung has an f/2.4 aperture and brings AI features enhancement for over 200 scenes.The cameras also come with features like 2x optical zoom, dual pixel phase detection autofocus, dual-tone LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama, 4-in-1 pixel binning and other features. It shoots videos of 2160p@60fps, 1080p@30/240fps. The 20MP front camera has f/2.0 aperture, 1.8µm pixel size and AI beautify and portrait settings as well.
