Tecno spark 2 pro is the upgrade version of the trending  Spark 2 smartphone that was launched some weeks ago in Lagos Nigeria. Actually, the spark 2 pro looks a lot more like the spark 2 device but comes with more improved specs and features than the spark 2 smartphone.

However, there is an increase in the RAM storage of the smartphone, but it still comes with the same internal storage of its little brother. Anyways, the pro version is packed with a bigger 2GB RAM, Dual cameras and a bigger battery than it little brother. While for security, the device still houses the same fingerprint scanner and face recognition technology of it, little brother. The spark 2 pro also turn out to be a 4G LTE smartphone.

DESIGN

Speaking of the design, the spark 2 pro packs the same design with it, little brother. The device comes with a plastic back and metal frame slim body design. This time around, the pro version comes with an additional rear camera, making it two cameras at the back.

The cameras are in their usual position with the LED flash. As usual, the dual cameras are spotted at the top close the edge. For those who don't like the idea of the trending face recognition technology (face ID), There is a fingerprint scanner placed at the rear for easy access to the phone. However, the device is available in colors like black, Red, and Gold, measuring about 7.8mm in thickness which makes it slim and sleek for holding.

DISPLAY

Like the spark 2 device, the spark 2 pro is also a full view display smartphone with 18.9 aspect ratio and slim bezels surrounding the screen, which offers a taller display in landscape mode for better performance in gaming and video watch.

The spark 2 pro version comes with a massive 6.0-inch HD+IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen for a clearer view. the screen has a resolution of about 720 x 1440 pixels and 268 pixels per inch density better display performance with a 2.5D curved glass on top for protection.

CAMERA

Speaking of the cameras, the spark 2 pro comes with an additional 2mp rear camera to help the 13mp rear camera take portrait photos and detect scenes. There is also a dual LED flash underneath the cameras to help capture gorgeous photos even in a low light environment. While at the front comes the usual 8mp selfie shooter along with LED flash to help you out when taking selfies and making video calls at night.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

TECNO spark 2 pro is powered by a MediaTek MT6739 chip from MediaTek with 4-core processor and 64-bit CPU architecture. As usual, the processor has a clocking speed of 1.3Ghz. while at the graphics department, the PowerVR GE8100 graphic processor takes care of graphics.

The spark 2 pro runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based on TECNO latest Hios 3.3 skin out of the box, powered by a bigger 2GB RAM for smooth multitasking of heavy apps than it little brother. While for storing files and documents, the device still houses the same 16GB internal storage that is upgradable up to 128GB with a memory card.

BATTERY

TECNO spark 2 pro is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 3500mAh battery capacity with no fast charging technology.

PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

Tecno spark 2 pro is sold on mobile outlets and online shopping stores, starting from N40,000 to 45,000 in naira which is about $119 to $140 in dollars.
