How to use OK Google detection feature to unlock your Android phone



OK Google detection feature has been in existence since the release of Android 6.0 marshmallow and it one of the cool feature I love about marshmallow. however, some Android users might still not know how to use OK Google detection to unlock their phone. So I took it upon my self to make this article for you guys.

Anyways, with OK Google detection feature enabled in your Android phone, you can easily make calls, play music's, videos, launch apps and do a lot more by just saying OK Google. OK Google detection is also similar to Google Assistant feature you might have seen in some smartphone.

Well, there are limitation to the things OK Google detection can do when your data connection is turn off, but with your data connection turned on you can do a lot more with it. although you might have seen or use the OK Google detection feature in your phone, but do you know that, that same OK Google detection feature can be used to unlock your phone without typing your password or drawing your pattern by just saying OK Google

However, on this tutorial I'm going to teach you guys, how to use OK Google detection feature to unlock your Android phone. Anyways, the coolest thing about it is that you can also use your password or pattern lock to unlock your phone once it fails. So let's get started, shall we?

HOW TO USE OK GOOGLE DETECTION FEATURE TO UNLOCKED YOUR ANDROID PHONE.

STEPS:


  • Firstly, held to settings in your phone, then scroll down until you find screen Lock and click on it.
  • Then click on smart lock and draw your pattern lock, under smart lock you will find features i.e on body detection, trusted place, trusted device and trusted voice.
  • Then select (trusted voice) in the page and enable it, Once done. It will take you to a page, where your phone will be train to match with your voice by saying OK Google three times. Once done, click finish and exit.
  • Now, when ever your device is locked, just turn on the screen brake light and say OK Google and your phone will automatically unlock.

CONCLUSION
